Be on high alert for an active jury duty scam where fraudsters impersonate local law enforcement or court officials, claiming you missed a summons and have an arrest warrant. They pressure you to pay an immediate "fine" or "bond" via wire transfer, cryptocurrency, or gift cards to avoid jail time. ********************************************************************* Unfortunately, (2) individuals from Isabella County came to my office today AFTER they sent $1,000.00 to these scam artist. There is no way they can get this money back.
