Cool Off at Your County Parks


Summer has finally arrived! Stay cool splashing around at Coldwater Lake Family Park, Deerfield Nature Park and Herrick Recreation Area.

Whether you our enjoying the sandy beaches, spending the day floating down the Chippewa River, or relaxing on a boat, Isabella County Parks offers a variety of summer fun activities! Get your annual vehicle entrance permit or daily vehicle entrance permit at the parks gatehouse and have a cool summer!


Disc Golf Tournament at Deerfield Nature Park


The Isabella County Deerfield Nature Park is hosting event 4 of the J-Bird Players Series Disc Golf Tournament will take place Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Deerfield Nature Park’s newly constructed Disc Golf Course. Pre-registration is recommended as the field is limited to 72 players. More information on this series can be found at www.discgolfersr.us/events/mt-pleasant-jbird-open.

The Sesquicentennial Committee is busy planning for a week of events that will highlight the County's rich and diverse history.

If you would like the latest Sesquicentennial items and memorabilia  we have books, rifle raffle tickets, t-shirts, & mugs available at the Administration Office in the Isabella County building.
