Drawing Discovery Class at Deerfield Nature Park

DrawingFlowerWell-known local artist Carole Howard will instruct a class in drawing that will emphasize the little treasures of the Park.

Class will take place at Deerfield Nature Park on Saturday, August 16th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Cost of each class is $5.00 and participants should bring a sketch pad (8x11 or comparable size), #2 pencils, ball point pen, stool or chair, and hat.

Isabella County is located in the heart of Central Lower Michigan.

On February 11, 1859 the state legislature organized Isabella County and a commission was appointed by the governor to establish the county seat at Isabella Centre. In 1860 voters approved the transfer of the county seat to Mount Pleasant.  ...more info
