Inmate who failed to return to jail after working on community service in the Shepherd area has been apprehended - September 5, 2014

Update: 09-05-2014 10:00 a.m.

Isabella County Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski announced that Edward John Lalone, the inmate that walked away from a community service work program on September 4th has been apprehended by the Midland County Sheriff’s Department today at approximately 9:30am.

Lalone was serving a 90 days sentence at the Isabella County Jail for nonpayment of child support when he walked away from a community service program in the Shepherd area.

Lalone was spotted in Midland County walking on a roadway and a tip was called into Midland County Dispatch.  Midland County Deputies apprehended Lalone without incident.  Lalone has been returned to the Isabella County Jail to face charges of escape.

SUBJECT MISSING:  Edward John LaLone, white male, 29 years old, 5’9” tall, 150#, short cropped black hair, hazel eyes.  Last seen wearing a bright green t-shirt with the words, “Party in the park”, on the front and “Staff” on the back. He is also wearing grayish/blue pants and white tennis shoes.

He has numerous tattoos on his arms and a swastika on his chest.
