Full-Time Food Service/Site Manager Supervisor

Commission on Aging

General Summary:
Under the supervision of the Nutrition Program Coordinator, prepares all menu plans and also provides instruction to all site managers for Food with Friends Nutrition program in accordance with the Older Americans Act guidelines and regulations. The Food Service/Site Manager Supervisor is responsible for reviewing vendor's price lists in quantities sufficient to meet menu plans. Monitoring food costs and reviewing all food related bills for payment. Reviewing and compiling of weekly and quarterly site statistics. Providing guidance, instruction and monitoring to the site managers on program compliance, site activities and site manager trainings and in-service.

General Summary:
Under the supervision of the DIRECTOR OR ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY (in Director’s absence) performs routine business and clerical tasks at the County Parks and Recreation Commission’s Office Located in Mt. Pleasant. May occasionally be assigned field duties (Gate Attendant procedures and set up) under the supervision of the PARKS SUPERVISOR. Such duties may include gate attendant tasks, supervising part-time or seasonal staff, assisting with special projects or events, and similar duties. Typical work week may include weekend and/or evening hours, but mostly during office business hours.
