Misdemeanors

Most misdemeanors require personal appearance for arraignment. If personal appearance is not required, you may plead guilty to the violation by contacting the Court by mail, by e-mail, or in person within 14 days after you receive your ticket to obtain the amount of your fines and costs.  If you are pleading not-guilty for the violation, you must contact the Court by mail, e-mail, or in person within 14 days after you receive your ticket to schedule a settlement conference.  If personal appearance is required, you must appear at the pre-set date and time noted on your ticket or contact the Court by mail, by e-mail, or in person within 14 days after you receive your ticket to obtain a date and time to appear for arraignment.  Cash bonds do not constitute payment and will be forfeited if you fail to appear.
